A distressed load is where food safety could have been compromised due to problems such as temperature abuse, labelling errors, damage to casing or pallets due to movement during transport or clandestine infiltration. Our distressed load service has developed in response to increasing numbers of hauliers, suppliers and insurers coming across issues with loads, with no one able to react. Any situation arising from a load which could potentially end up incurring huge loss and associated costs can be dealt with, confidentially, by one of our experienced managers. We maintain full trackability of all stock handled with detailed report being generated including photos, detailing the extent of the damage in order to mitigate the potential loss of the whole load.
